Detection of expression levels of disease resistance-related genes in GhSDH1–1-silenced and control cotton plants. Total RNAs were extracted from GhSDH1–1-silenced and control cotton plants after treatment with V. dahliae, and roots were harvested at 0, 1, 3, 6, 12, 24, and 48 hpi, respectively. The expression levels of resistance-related genes were determined by qRT-PCR. Error bars represent the standard deviation of three biological replicates. Asterisks indicate statistically significant differences, as determined by Student’s t-test (*P < 0.05; **P < 0.001)
